Uncovering Natural Materials at The Met
At art and design museums, material is not front and center of the viewing experience, and it should be, as it will better help us understand material cycles and their impact on the environment. This can be done by creating a connection between raw materials and works of art and design.
I designed a game to help museum goers connect artworks to natural materials, to see how they can be implemented in our daily lives.

Using the cards, participants start by locating the hidden natural material in the artwork. Next, they match cards along rows A, B, and C. Finally, they will reveal the product made from hidden natural material.
