MOTTA


motta is a publicly accessible booth that houses surpuls, unsold food from grocery and convenience stores and composts organic matter – all to limit food waste. 

under UN SDG goal number 12: Responsible Consumption and Production, specifically under target 12.3, to halve global food waste by 2030.

project completed as part of a 3 week intensive course through Pratt Institute’s Interior Design department, taught in Tokyo + Kyoto, Japan.
